Reconnect and Understand Your Child

Are you struggling to connect with your child, feeling like the gap between you is widening each day?

Do you find it challenging to understand your child in the era of social media, or feel overwhelmed and unsure about your parenting style?

You're not alone, and we are here to help.

Parents of young people

in the programme.

They say that “Parents are only as happy as their least happy child”.

Its been my observation and experience, parents are often excluded from many interventions involving their children, leading to feelings of being left out and vilified. This exclusion reinforces the notion that they are to blame for their child’s difficulties and leaves them feeling helpless, as they are not informed about how to help.

The parent support programme is designed to help the parents, ( with the child’s permission)to stay in the loop and understand what they young persons difficulties are and how to help them at home.

It is NOT designed to help the parents “run” the young person’s lives.

Parents of the young person currently in the programme can purchase
2 to 4 “support” sessions which are designed to coach them with the skills they may need to support their young person while they are in the programme and beyond.

How are the sessions structured?

2 x session support programme.

  • The 1st session will be at the mid-programme point, after the young persons 3rd or 4th session.

  • The 2nd one after young person’s last session.

4 x sessions support programme.

  • 1st session for the parents is their young person’s 3rd session, mid-point (1).

  • 2nd session for the parents is after their young person’s 5th session (2).

  • 3rd parent session is after their young person’s last session (3) (same week if possible).
